I saw that movie on Syfy channel long ago... I still don't know why did they released this movie after movie Battle: Los Angels, see page https://trakt.tv/movies/battle-los-angeles-2011
It's hard to give a rating at this movie.
Yes, it's no good movie
Yes, it's a military movie about honor and so on.
BUT (!) the action scenes are great.
What they did right:
+ Battles and action scenes -> great
+ Aaron Eckhard -> good actor
What they did wrong:
- To big plot
- Obvious plot-"Twists"
- Annoying soldier-blabla. Don't get me wrong, they can do it. But why these cheesy lines?
- The movie is much too long.
In the end: 4/10
Oh god, this is horrible. Ignoring the budget "special" effects, the plot just falls flat. They could have cut out 80% of the film and maybe had something solid.
