Good stupid fun. Shame they didn't get to watch any music videos though.
I laughed. I cried. I scored.
Uh huh huh yeah..you better not like uhhhhh leave bad reviews or something..I might have to kick your ass butthole
Not great, but not awful. It was..... okay.
This was a nostalgia kick for me. Still, it felt somewhat average for a lot of it (on its own b&b scale ofc). Enjoyed moments and didn't really expect a lot, but it wasn't quite what I'd hoped overall. 6.4 for me. Worth a watch for fans, but nothing worth ever rewatching.
Perfectly stupid and entertaining, just like it should be. I'd put this pretty close to Do America.
Oh how I missed these morons.
Disappointing to say the least. The first movie was way better, looks like MJ may of needed some cash.
A Beavis & Butthead movie, as a fan you couldn't want any more.
Mike Judge was on point with this (yes, I know others were involved) and it was the perfect throwback for all fans of the show.
Just as bad as I remembered the show, well done!
Nothing really new or surprising. Same tried and true plot, (or lack of) with hat tips from the past riffing on more current idioms and silliness. Watch it if you're feeling nostalgic, or have nothing better to do for 90 minutes.
Solid movie that fans will enjoy. It does feel a little drawn out at times, but there were some laugh out moments for me that made it highly enjoyable. I hadn't seen anything Beavis and Butthead in a while, so seeing their antics again was fun.
An absolutely worthy successor! Definitely kept his charm from back then and I laughed well! I need more toilet paper !!!
Even when the series was brand new, and I was an impressionable young teenager with raging hormones and an affinity for toilet humor (in other words, precisely the show’s target audience), I never cared all that much for the animated portions of Beavis and Butt-Head. To my eye, those were the filler and the sardonic music video takedowns were the main attraction. It was a pleasant surprise when their first feature, the all-animated Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, proved to be a thoroughly consistent swan song as the series transitioned into syndication and I entered adulthood. Now, a quarter-century later, the titular duo is back to try it again, claiming their seats on the couch and reprising their old roles as self-amused spokesmen of the ADD generation.
To be concise, this is an utterly idiotic premise, and I’d expect no less. The boys are somehow shipped off to Space Camp, somehow fall into a black hole, somehow materialize in the year 2022 and immediately spit a sarcastic commentary on all the things that have changed in society since Bill Clinton was still in his first term. There’s some ripe comedy to be had, barbs for everything from Siri to white privilege, but the underlying story feels too loose and single-note. Condensed to thirty or forty minutes, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe would be a laugh riot, but it’s excessive and drawn-out at twice the length. America earned that extra time, loyally weaving the simple pleasures of the small screen into a greater narrative, and Universe is awfully scant by comparison. Which is a shame, because the good bits are dynamite. I especially loved the futuristic “smart” B&B, who grow increasingly desperate as their time-displaced counterparts show absolutely no interest in righting the wrongs of the multiverse. Their appearances are few and far between, however, and the genuinely hilarious (or even amusing) bits are equally scarce.
Where their first feature felt like an organic step forward, a natural progression that both characters and creator were ready to embrace, the chuckling chuckleheads’ oft-delayed sequel is more like an egg that needed a lot more time in the pot: shallow, undercooked and runny.
The movie claims to be "The dumbest science fiction movie ever made.", and it does what it says on the tin. It is indeed quite dumb, as expected from Beavis and Butthead. Better graphically than the MTV originals, but all of the childish fun.
Great nostalgia kick but just average overall.
I started this thinking “why am I watching these guys”, but it turned out to be pretty funny. Very original, and classic Beavis and Butthead type humor. I thought this would be a desperate attempt to bring something back that’s been dead for a long time, and try to make what ever money they can, but I really enjoyed it.
Honestly on par with the show back in the day. Just felt a bit Rick n Morty with the citedel ending etc wasn’t needed.
If you're a fan or a fnar, you will probably like this. If you didn't find the original comedy funny, this probably won't convert you.
Not terrible but not really great either. Right in line with some of the other recent long gestating sequels like Bill and Ted
I’ve never really been a huge Beavis & Butthead fan, but I have dabbled with the show and other movies. This may have been my favorite that I’ve seen! It’s far from perfect, but it was a lot of dumb fun. As I said with the Paramount+ South Park specials, I simply really enjoy them and hope they keep coming. This won’t be for everyone, but if you have a potty mouth sense of humor, or a fan of the older content, you should check this out.
Rating: 3.5/5 - 8/10 - Would Recommend
I thought I had outgrown this kind of humor but I was laughing like a teenager again. It kinda drag at times, though.

It was solid. Not nearly as good as the first movie. I’d still recommend it if you like beavis and butthead.
