Not a grand film but a great film, Bienvenue au Gondwana is an African gem, rough around the edges, but still beautiful and extremely precious. It reminds me of when I was 14 and discovering independent films for the first time, reminds me why I fell in love with indie movies to begin with, and cinema overall.
