i will love anything the three main actors do (i suffered through the entire cia series piper perabo did for usa, i'm COMMITTED) but this could have been so much better save for the last "twist". it was a solid (if predictable) thriller until that final scene.
Would have been a 7 or 8 but the ending ruined it. As others have said, one twist/scene too many.
it's a great movie, good history.. until the final plot twist.. frustrating...it should finished without the last scene...
Marred by one twist too many, but still a better film than I expected.
Hot damn, I'm actually impressed.
Black Butterfly is a tense and exciting film. Antonio Banderas delivers a strong performance as a reclusive writer who takes in a drifter, only to find himself at the mercy of the unpredictable and potentially dangerous stranger. The film's exploration of the power dynamics between the two men, and the psychological games they play, is both disturbing and fascinating. While the plot may feel somewhat familiar to fans of the genre, the film's strong performances and suspenseful pacing make it a worthwhile watch.
WOW good cliffhanger of a movie. Not the ending I expected..RECOMMENDED YOU WATCH THIS
One of the few movies were I did not guess the ending ...have to say I thought it was predictable and it gave me a curveball loved it
I was less than impressed initially with Paul's revealing all the people he's killed as he prepares to do away with the man who's been holding him hostage.
Then, the odd lack of evidence and the back-and-forth with the officers...
Then the real ending.
Not bad, showing the false ending as a bit pulpy, whether intentional or not, it worked.

It was all going so well and I loved it... then the ending. Damn, if they ended it 1 minute earlier it would have been perfect. sometimes trying too many twists spoils it.
