Blindfolded Eyes 1978

[FlixOlé] It's possibly one of the lesser-known films by Carlos Saura, made after "Elisa, my life" )1977), and perhaps affected by its direct reference to recent events (the dictatorship of Argentina, the repression of the Spanish police against workers in Victory...). Openly political in the denunciation of repression and oppression, it explores the scars (physical and psychological) of torture, again using theater as a representation of reality. In this case, the connection between the imagined and the real, the past and the present works less effectively, but it contains a powerful reflection on the fight against repressive governments.
