Bodies at Rest is a decent enough time-waster for those times you just want to relax and not think too much. I can see what Renny Harlin and the writers tried to do with this one, and I approve. We don't get enough of these kinds of gritty action thrillers ala Die Hard anymore, so I actually had a nice time with this.
It's not a masterpiece and the pacing might be a bit slow, but it worked for me. What actually shocked me the most was that I had no clue whatsoever that Renny Harlin now directed in China.
