It is such a classic film! I watch it once every year and haven't gotten bored with it yet!

How long did she study and practice for the British accent? She sounds better than some English actors

why didn't she sue Daniel and then hire Mark?

It's Mark, the one who accept you just the way you are.
My heart still beats for this movie.

22 years later, I can finally say I saw this film! It’s pretty decent even if I’m certainly not the target audience. It’s not just a stereotypical rom-com, but it doesn’t stand out to me as being :asterisk_symbol:more:asterisk_symbol: than a rom-con either. It obviously really works for a certain demographic considering it’s gotten two follow ups. Now on to the sequel!

Rating: 3/5 - 7.5/10 - Worth Watching

"I choose Vodka. And Chaka Khan."

What a pleasant surprise this movie was! Colin Firth and Hugh Grant fighting over a Renée Zellweger with a posh accent was truly a sight to see.

It's a nice british romcom. The street fight scene was great.

"I like you very much, just as you are." Does every girl want a handsome guy to say so? Which do you like Mark or Daniel? If I consider that the film and the original book are popular among British people and young girls all over the world, it may help me to understand current British culture and to get a bit of knowledge of what modern girls think in daily life or how they live in this world of boredom and occasional wonder. I like the movie. It was fun.

A classic rom com with nice, thick British accents and humor and embarrassment a plenty. I think everyone can relate to Bridget in one way or another. While I would never chase after a man in my knickers (much less in the snow), I'm as awkward and blurty with things that ought to be kept quiet. And as someone who found dating horribly awkward and messy, I can certainly relate to that aspect of this movie. Now if only the ending weren't so cliche, it could have been a real gem.
