Broadway Danny Rose 1984

I wasn't feeling this one. It was OK but missable

Don't let the rottentomatoes.com rating fool you - only a handful of people reviewed this movie. If I had only one word to describe this movie I would say "uneventful". It would almost be like filming someone's life and making it into a movie. I kept waiting for something to happen but nothing ever did happen.

In my opinion not one of Woody Allen's strongest films that I've seen so far but good anyway. Another charming, funny and entertaining film.

Woody Allen plays Danny Rose, a talent agent. The biggest star he represents is Lou Casanova an italian singer that is making a comeback of his career. Lou will have a big show soon and he insists that Danny try to bring his mistress to see the show. While trying to convince her on doing that Danny ends up getting envolved with the mob. The story is told in flashbacks by a group of comedians on a restaurant, they talk about Danny's life episode with Lou and Tina.

A wonderful film that leaves you with a smile on your face.
