Twin Peaks meets Mr. Robot. Interesting conundrums involving potential parallel dimensions, worm holes, psychological issues, a wrinkle in the space time continuum... or maybe it was all just a dream. Honestly, I still don't know what in the world happened but enjoyed the surreal journey.
I watched it because of Rami Malek and I wasn't disappointed. His acting was amazing. And lets not forget about DJ Qualls who is
About the movie: It is a little confusing at first, because there are many time jumps back and fourth and it took me a long time to figure out what happened first, but that was never boring to me. Quite the opposite in fact, I already want to rewatch it like I did with season one of "I Robot" to see all the little things I might have missed the first time through.
It's not your typical cinema movie, but it did not feel like an indie movie either. It was something else, but I enjoyed exactly that. Something different from romcoms or superhero movies.
Horrible, i turned it off after 50 minutes, couldn't barely watch it. I don't care what happened at the end and how and why he was like that.
It's like fight club without the fighting. But man, Rami Malek plays a good crazy character.
Short and simple, i didn't like this movie. I love a good mindfuck movie. In fact, i pursue them. I have watched all the known-ones and most of the less known; and i just started to clean some ticks on movies in mindfuck lists and categories. The good twists and turns makes the story for me. Something that may be underlined throughout the movie; but i didn't felt this with Buster's. This movie is more aligned with the "you are gonna see some surreal crap, with deep far-fetched meaning and plot that is not entirely clear at the end". The movie si slow, and the plot doesn't seem to move that much in the duration. At the end, you are left with more questions than answers; not sure of what you saw and since is so far-fetched, is open to interpretation on the watcher. And i absolutely HATE when movies do this. You can make a perfectly complicated movie, that has some "deep meaning" or whatever and still follow an structure giving (at any point of the movie) more or less clear pillars from which the movie is standing. And sadly, i don't think this movie did it. I love Rami, but this isn't even close to his acting capabilities. I don't know the director, but i'm guessing i won't watch any other work of her unless it tickles my curiosity too much. Anyway, just a 3 out of 10 for me.
Meh.. It was alright... strange.. watchable.. all over the place... to be honest like he wanted to be free.. I wanted to be free from the film... maybe coz I gotta little bored..
1:37 long felt like ages, just skip this movie its just stupid and boring.. don't waste your time.. watch something better

I am surprised by the negative reviews on this page. This is a puzzling film, though not without merit. Prepare yourselves for something unconventional, and you won't be disappointed.
