Cabin Fever 2016

This movie was terrible overall. There is nothing about this movie I like, scenes was random from time to time . This is a typical infection movie with nothing new to bring to the table that seemed to be under budget. The plot is nowhere to be found in this movie just one simple objective be stupid and survive if they can. The thought behind this movie was little to none as the movie will show as the characters are unbelievably stupid. I would not recommend watching this movie and would highly consider watching something else.

This is the worst movie that I have seen in ages! There is no logic in this movie.

Possibly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. None of the scares land, and the entire movie feels totally disjointed from scene to scene. I would highly recommend you save your time and watch the original over this totally unneeded remake.

There are definitely some valid reasons for doing a remake. For example, if you want to update an older film to the latest state of technology or adapt something for an audience in a different culture or language. Or perhaps even if you have at least a single new idea. But there is no acceptable justification for a shot-for-shot remake of a film that is not even 15 years old. Here, even the script of the original has been taken as a basis. Only the tongue-in-cheek humor of the first film is hardly present. The gore works again here, and the technical aspects are fine as well. But you really shouldn't support such a display of creative bankruptcy under any circumstances.

I'd like to review Cabin Fever as though it exists in a vacuum, but it doesn't, it stands firmly on the shoulders of the original film, sometimes shot for shot, beat for beat. Typically, when a movie is remade, it is to add a new take, update it and bring it to another level. That is not the case here. The weird dark humor that made the original so entertaining has been taken out, but all else is the same, which leaves this with a void that will hit differently depending on if you've seen the first version or not.
What was the motivation here? All elements are a step down, aside from maybe the camera technology. I could see if they went dead serious with the tone - as in the Evil Dead remake - but it's still going for a fun, carefree tone. You have two routes here: 1. Copy the original, but add more of everything. 2. Go a different direction, while recognizing that if you can't outdo the original, you can paint it with colors so dark it will defy comparison.
There is no reason to watch this. Just watch the original Eli Roth version.

The original is looking pretty good right now. This is yet another example of why remakes are completely pointless.

This is poor remake of Eli Roths Cabin Fever from 2002. They even screwed up most iconic scene in the original, shaving scene in the bathtub. The whole movie looks more like a badly acted parody then gore horror.

Change the genre to Porn and all the characters fall into place. This is really really terrible lol. Big horror fan, but this.. I might start to cry blood soon.

I gave this movie 1 star. Acting is terrible and it is pretty much a shot for shot remake of the original. Don't waste your time with this one!
