Child's Play 3 1991

"Hey, long time no see, pal... You know what they say, you just can't keep a good guy down."

It starts strong with one of the coolest intros in the franchise but as soon as the military school stuff comes in it's a bit of a turn off. The idea of having Andy join the military makes sense because of his background but it's not the most exciting idea they could of had for the setting of the movie. It also strays away completely from it's previous thematics of kids and toys, what redeems it is the inclusion of Tyler and the carnival in the third act. The carnival was a perfect idea for the third act and I loved the setting but it was short-lived compared to the bonkers third acts in the previous entries. Thankfully it remains steady with the kills, they were all cool and well-thought out. Chucky is still funny as hell but I didn't laugh at every joke compared to the previous. Still a good watch but not on the level of 1 and 2.

Better premise and setting than the second flick. Another "set aside disbelief and enjoy the movie" movies.

To be honest, I thought the movie would be way worse than this. Well, it wasn't a bad experience after all. I'm still looking forward to watch the other movies.

Chucky: the series, motivated me to do so cause I've been delaying my "Chucky Marathon" for years and when I finished the first season of the show, I thought I was a little lost, regarding the characters' storylines.

To this movie forward will be all new movies to me Hehe

It went south when they introduced romance. Not every movie needs it.

I actually really liked this film. The military school was a good setting for this film to take place in my opinion. Chucky is very clever, just like the first two films. However, there were a lot of annoying characters and some bad acting. The final scene in the amusement park was definitely my favorite part of the film. I especially liked the part where the Grim reaper cuts of a part of Chucky's head. At the end of the film, it seemed like Charles had finally found a new body, but Andy ruined that buly shooting one of his arms off and cutting one of his hands off. Overall a enjoyable film, not as good as the first two in my opinion.

Chucky is re-born in Child's Play 3. After Chucky's blood gets mixed into a vat of plastic his soul is transferred into a new Good Guys doll, and he then precedes to go after his old nemesis Andy Barclay. It's a trite story and is full of the stereotypical horror movie clichés. And the characters aren't that interesting; even Andy has lost his appeal as a sympathetic victim. Chucky however, is still pretty fun and some of the kills are entertaining. With Child's Play 3 Chucky's story has pretty much been played out, and the series doesn't really have anywhere to go.

Chucky looks weird in this one. Military school was not a good setting for this one. The barber was super creepy.

One of the weaker entries in the series, due mostly to an unlikeable cast. Like seriously, I can't root for any of these people. I find myself cheering for Chucky more. He's at least funny and Douriff is awesome as usual. The setting in the military school does it no favors either. Makes it largely boring. But.. Chucky has some good lines, and the opening and finale are pretty well done.

Andy grew up quick; since the second film was only one year before this one. He was still a kid in that one. This one he is like 17. Anyway this movie isn't that good.
