For a movie made 70 years ago about one of the most horrific events, this was an interesting take. It focused on a teacher returning to check up on her young students a couple of years later, and finding how they were surviving, and the people helping them.
It was watchable, especially considering it's age, the subject, the subtitles (for me anyway) - I assume that it was an impressive movie when it was made, and still engaging by showing a human side to the dropping of the A-bomb on Japan
