Hey, you! Yeah, you! Have you ever seen Dracula? Well, this is just Dracula, only incredibly boring.
I had high hopes for this when it began, but it quickly became taxing. At under an hour and a half, you feel every single second. The shots are ponderous, the dialog is verbose. Hell, in one scene, a character sits and reads a book; it doesn't go anywhere, it isn't needed for the story, it's just there.
There are only two positives for Slaughter of the Vampires: 1. The black and white is gorgeous. 2. Graziella Granata's sweet, juicy milkers popping out of the top of her dress, va-va-voom! There's a moment where she is running, and I don't know how those beauties didn't escape!
Anyway!
Not the worst vampire movie I have ever seen, but it's damn close.
If you like vampire movies, but you wish they were painfully slow, and the characters talked about what they are doing as they are doing it, then you might like this. But be warned! The real vampire here is the film itself, sucking the life out of you. Truly terrifying.
