Curse of the Crimson Altar 1968

An outsider searching for his suspiciously disappeared brother in a sleepy little town and he's offered to stay in a lodge by the owner. At night, he's plagued with a dream of ancient cult wearing animal masks and a green-skinned witch doing satanic ritual. Fun, if a bit slow 60s British occult horror that's a loose adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's Dreams in the Witch House with lots of psychedelic visual and sound. The story is paced just well enough to keep interesting and it's fun seeing Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee, and Barbara Steele in the same film.

Mysterious. Not a cut them up blood bath movie that I don't care for. Very good. Nice to see Karloff.

Interesting only as a period pace; otherwise, this is a dull, derivative horror movie. Despite the presence of Lee, Karloff and Steele, this has nothing to offer dedicated horror fans.
