Daddy's Deadly Darling 1973

4.2 on imdb. I feel that's too low. This movie feels very Tobe Hooper sometimes, yet pre-dates Texas Chainsaw. It has some good cinematography and camera work, but there are simple mistakes everywhere, like being out of focus and jerky movements. Scenes just clash. Overall the atmosphere works and the charcaters are OK. Anything that can pull off a completely ridiculous and bizarre idea is worth a look, so I recommend it.
Marc Lawrence was good as Zambrini. Sadly the story never really develops after a while. We have the setup and it cruises on. It's kind of slows down after 20 minutes and treads water. Marc and Tori (related in real life) seem a bit close for comfort in this movie, which adds to the oddness.
