The US gov't has been 'abducting' people and doing experiments on them, for the sole purpose of instilling fear in us towards any alien race that visits us. In reality, no aliens have ever been malicious towards humans, as they have been visiting us and watching what we are up to ever since we discovered the atom bomb. Most UFO sightings happen near nuclear military bases for a reason. They have even stopped the USA from exploding nuclear weapons in space.
