It's not only gross negligence on behalf of Boeing it's downright criminal. People should have gone to jail. Muilenburg should be in prison instead of receiving a 62 m $ farewell present. But as usual corporations just pay fines and are off the hook. And even the 2.5 billion are not hurting them as much as one might think. Yes, their gross profit stumbles in 2020 but their overall from 2018 to September 2021 is still over 20 billion $. And it will continue to climb.
Sadly this doesn't apply only to Boeing. It's like that all over the world. There is no responsiblity from manufactures, it's not about making the best product. Everything revolves around money, shares, stock prices, payments of boni.

It's a cancer that will be our downfall.

I had often skipped this documentary on Netflix but gave it a go today. (Netflix is really good at making awesome documentaries in my opinion)

The documentary did a great job in explaining the Boeing aircraft crash issues.

Highly recommend you to check it out if you haven't already.

[Netflix] Some of the information revealed in this documentary provokes feelings of real terror, the feeling of putting our lives in the hands of real psychopaths. Like many documentaries produced by Ron Howard/Brian Grazer, it is unidirectional and lacks some counterpoint that allows us to understand some of the decisions made. But it is surprising how easily those who kept silent for so long speak now.

I thought this was a major screwup from Boeing, it was worse, this was a colossal criminal cover up moved by corporate greed. This will continue until a CEO from a big corporation be convicted and serve prison time.
