Oh man, a re-imagining of the very 1st Dragon Ball saga but WITHOUT EMPEROR PILAF!? That makes this movie a million times better! Despite the fact that it is a very abridged alternate version of the 1st DB season it was very enjoyable and it never really stopped in its tracks just kept the story flowing. My fav. part was actually Yamcha, made me laugh every time he was on screen. I really like how there's a focus on comedy and adventure and not just the fights that the DB franchise came to be known for.
If I had to criticize it I'd only say I wasn't really a fan of Goku and Bulma's dub voices but that's just nitpicking at this point.
