This is the worst movie I've ever watched with "Dune" in the name. What does this have to do with Dune?
Not terrible, but most scenes were far too predictable and some stuff just didn't' make much sense. Handguns with target tracking, but often misses the target at 3-4 meter range??. Spaceships that can travel at lightspeed, but uses analog screens and radio for intercom?? I get that if you have a limited budget you have to do some compromises, but this interpretation did not make sense to me, showing the spacecraft as an old battered up vehicle makes sense, but using CRTs and hundreds of buttons and switches all over the place, where not even the fonts of the labels match, including a full qwerty keyboard, attached to the yoke is just not giving it a realistic feeling. You do not need manual switches for everything in the style of Apollo missions or the early Space Shuttles, once you have an AI that you can talk with that controls your ship.Unless of course, it's a high-paced dogfight, where manual controls seemed to be preferred :)
