My problem with this documentary is the limitation to only show Netflix Originals animes, that's obvious, I mean, it's a Netflix movie but yet still bothers me, the idea is cool, the execution is quite good too, but there was so much more to talk about this universe and I'm not even complaining about the runtime (58 minutes) I am talking about the content shown. Yet, it's a experience, you will not exactly wast your time watching and it's worth taking a look if you are like any animes that Netflix has produced
A director with no idea of anime making a documentary movie about anime... What could go wrong, right?
Not only that, but they only talk about Netflix original “anime", and when 99% of them are made of bad CGI they are not the best choices for an anime documentary.

Honestly don't waste your time watching this documentary. The documentary only really looks at anime that Netflix has produced (this documentary is basically a 58 minute ad for Netflix anime) and doesn’t really give a proper prospective of anime or Japanese culture at all, so much of this documentary feels so awkward/ cringe with over the top music or unnecessary scenes.
