Everything Must Go 2011

Loved it. There is no security in the American Dream, it’s just a house of cards.

I hope for many more serious Ferrell films. This clear and simple portrait of alcoholism and the tolls it takes is accurate and poignant.

A sobering look at the reality of life.... it sucks, it’s hard and when your down and out most times thing keep getting worse until it’s your best friend having an affair with your spouse. Sad, sad movie. Great performance by Will Ferrel in a non comedy. Still thinking about this movie and how we we are all victim and how we have no say or control over many things in our lives.

Definitely one for us approaching middle age :) Like Greenberg it takes a certain age and life experiences to actually get this film. Im sure i am not being too unfair by saying that i would'nt really expect a 21 year old living with their parents to appreciate it :)

I love Will Ferrell in dramas. I still think that Stranger Than Fiction is one of the most underrated movies of the last 20 years. Is this a great movie? No, it isn't. There is enough heart in this movie to make it watchable. It does a good job portraying a man that is at the crossroads of his life without hitting the viewer over the head with it.

This one slid by me for nearly 12 years. As someone that never really loved Will Ferrell, I wasn’t itching to watch his “serious” role. Finally getting around to it and I was quite surprised. It’s a solid film, and a quality dram-edy! I can see myself dabbling with this one in the future, and I think this one is worth watching regardless of your opinion on Ferrell.

I don't see why so many people seem to hate this movie. Even if you don't like Will, it's nothing like his over the top slap stick stuff in most of his other flicks. It was subtle and I enjoyed it.
