Fantastic cast in a really not funny movie. You know it's that old story of a guy wants to bang a con artist so he hires an escort to bang his wife and the wife loves it then doesn't and so the guy does drugs. So relateable, right.
Great cast, below average story, NOT very funny.
Don't skip that root canal or washing the dog to watch this, but if you're desperate to watch something - anything, this will be right up your alley. 5/10
From writer/director Mike Judge comes the offbeat comedy Extract. Starring Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, Kristen Wiig, J.K. Simmons, and Ben Affleck, the film has a great cast. The story follows a factory owner who finds himself attracted to one of his new tempts, but unknown to him she’s a grifter with an eye on his company. The comedy is pretty well-written and is fairly lighthearted. However, the script is weak and includes several subplots that don’t really payoff (like the annoying neighbor). The resolutions of the main story arcs are also underwhelming and somewhat unsatisfying. But despite its disappointments, Extract delivers some good laughs and is kind of fun.
The whole movie is "just" fine. I guess I would have liked a little more of.... something... from such a fantastic cast. I forgot it five minutes after it was over.

Extract is a funny movie that kept me entertained. While I think it could have been even better, the decent plot coupled with exceptional acting made it a good watch for me. The actors really bring their characters to life, and the film features some good one-liners. Overall, if you're looking for a good comedy with some great performances, it's worth checking out.
It's Mike Judge. Not as strong as his other efforts but it has all the trademarks.
Mila Kunis is as alluring as ever. Ben Affleck has a great cameo. Kirsten Wiig actually makes a decent effort of performing her role.
From Office Space to Silicon Valley, you know why you're searching this film out... Enjoy it for what it is. 6/10
