The story is the classic confrontation between cat and mouse that also coincided with the first short film starring Sylvester and Tweety, "Tweetie pie" (1947), which won an Oscar. Somehow Disney and Warner Bros. had similar ideas that Warner would eventually develop successfully. This is a minor short that is well paced and fun despite being predictable.
