Final Destination 3 2006

Movie sucks but the deaths are hilarious

While I thought this storyline was kind of weak compared to the others, it still kept my interest, they seem like a great group of actors!

I would've loved it if the twist of the movie is that "death" wasn't involved at all, it's just that nobody followed the safety hazards.

Better than Final Destination 2 and closing in on Final Destination 1 (but not quite there.)

The lamest (of the first 3 movies) inciting accident but far more likable characters than FD2 and inching out FD1 in that regard as well. It really helped that the main character was far better than the previous 2 movies. Probably the best deaths in the series so far as well, very gruesome.

My largest nitpick is how often characters reiterate the rules of cheating death, It gets quite annoying.

Not as good as the first two but still the deaths are a lot of fun. I've never ridden a roller coaster and this makes me never want to. That tanning bed scene is horrifying.

My favorite out of the FD series. With bimbos, jocks, emos, and skeezy, the characters are as two-dimensional as they should be and the death scenes are elaborate and hilarious!

Totally forgot about that crash at end!

Anyway, I must've been on drugs or something the last time I've watched it because I only gave it two stars the first go around, this time I had so much more fun!

The opening sequence is brilliant and has always been my nightmare about rollercoasters even though I love riding them, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is always damn cute and fun to watch, the tanning scene! The photos! Some brutal deaths! We have that truck from the previous installment! 180! 180! EVERYTHING IS LEADING BACK TO 180!!

Anyway, James Wong outdid himself here!

Ps. Best kill? The tan sisters!

"It's never better staying ignorant. Willful ignorance is surrendering control."

Ok the premonition isn't near as good, but the deaths are still fun. I think it's starting to lose it's excitement just a little bit. I am glad I don't use tanning beds but after watching this I would've never used them anyways.

6/10
Fair
I'm not sure that
Third times a charm,
Although this probably
has my favourite cast
this is definitely the
weakest installment.
Their wasn't as much
elaborate set up for the
kills, none really until
the third act and those
they was just didn't have
the same interesting
Manner of how cool
one thing leads to
another.
"Deaths plan"
just wasn't that well
Thought Out
this time around.

Surprisingly good, especially being that it’s the third. Gorier deaths, too.

Predictable but enjoyable. I think anyone who's seen 1 of the 2 previous movies can predict what will happen.

They seem to be getting out of control with the number of little ingredients that need to build up to the actual kill. Like in the warehouse, for example - like 25 things had to happen for the death to occur. So many questions for that warehouse scene: Wasn't the store closed? Why was it so dark in there? What the hell was Ian doing cutting random board for? Who pulled the trigger on the nailgun? Those things have triggers with protective guards - they just don't fire off 12 rounds on their own.

Anyway - still a fun movie. It's a good game to try to find the clues from the photos.

...On to the next one!

mary elizabeth winstead made this the best iteration so far tbh

The whole plot of the story is based on 1 thing: the death's list and order to kill and they go on and skip the main character's death for no apparent reason and circle back and kills the Ian guy that was skipped, the deaths were more elaborate but they need to be more consistent about the death's "rules" in the series.

Was ok but nailgun kill was the best story like always Movie 1 and 2 where better

Donning the Final Destination crop top for final girls is (at only 20 years old) little baby angel Mary Elizabeth Winstead: it's obvious from her performance here that she's destined to be more than a scream queen.

The story and the deaths are better in this third installment than its predecessor, so it's nice to see the Final Destination roller coaster back on track after the wreck that was the sequel.

Note about my ranking: I put this between the first (a 7) and the second (a 6) so it's a 6.5 that I'm rounding up.

If there's one consistent quality factor to these movies, it's the score. For a film that prides itself on it's grotesque, ironic kills that are the showstoppers and ticket sellers of the franchise, the music plays it straight. Lots of haunting memorable strings. The script playing it so safe is what makes these movies just average, but the characters and their kills are what step the series up and apart from the crowd.

this was actually better than the previous... these movies have so many goofs and mistakes but what can i say?...i just love those death scenes.. the ending was good... i missed the mortician in this movie .. just a fun watch ...the dialogues and the foreshadowing of death is still cringe worthy though.... again.. it was just a fun watch.

The 3rd part of the FD series is better than the really bad 2nd part but still it is an absolutely unnecessary movie: there is nothing new and basically all the ideas were already present in the first (and best) FD movie... Skip this one!
