Really hard hitting doco and the first part of the must-see Highlands Trilogy. All three films are superb! The later two (Joe Leahy's Neighbors and Black Harvest) cover the (mis)adventures of the same tribe and in particular Joe, who was fathered by one of the Australian explorers featured in this original film, as he attempts to run a coffee farm in the area.
