Twisty turny thriller kept me guessing. Worth a watch, but not the night before your next hospital appointment.
One of the best thrillers I've seen in years. The suspense was nearly unbearable. Everything is possible till the last minute. I read some of the "professional" reviews and they are so terribly wrong, that I doubt they even watched the same movie. In fact this movie is so unique, that I never watched something nearly similar. Only one thing is more like horror: reviews by media sites
I loved this movie up until the ending.
A movie which will make you wonder till the end. Plenty of twists to keep the movie tense going. Movie was a bit slow, but overall a good watch. 6/10
I loved it. It was amazing with a lot of twists and turns.
Great movie! Didn't expect it to be so thrilling but it was. As a parent you watch this thinking 'Dear Lord this is the worst kind of nightmare!' and as the movie progresses and you get an idea of what happened it still remains as scary. You get a hunch of what is going on in this movie very early on but there is left enough room to speculate other twists. I like how they ended the movie it was the best way to end it and I'm glad it didn't play out as a 'scary hospital human organ trafficking' kind of plot but went for a psychotic break down of epic proportions.
If you expect over the top blood, bodies and other horror stuff, pass this movie. If you want to watch a psychological thriller with a dark theme, go for it!
It is a great movie to watch! But it is not a great movie.
The end sucked, i mean how can do that to the innocent viewer who just wanted Sam Worthington to be in the right & and tell him NO! The crooked looking hospital people are right. What?"
Really enjoyed this movie. It had so many twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat the whole way through!
I feel bad giving this movie such low score but damn they really did fuck up the ending
This movie was amazing all the way and I was actually so hooked and invested in the story and my hopes were getting higher with every frame but then they did a cheap and poor twist in the end that ruined the whole film
I would go as far to say that if they kept going with the human organ harvesting storyline till the end and made the police bust the place and give us satisfying closure this movie would one be one of my favorite movies ever.. but they chose to have unnecessary, unoriginal and unconvincing twist that made this whole thing just meeeh
This is normally something I would stay away from cause mostly I can just figure out everything in at least 20 minutes of movies like these. But I was pleasantly surprised. This threw all my theories out the window at the end. It’s really interesting to see something like this
What a complete mindf*ck this one was.
Netflix finally made a good movie and it might be there best yet!
If you liked Shutter Island, then you will definitely like Fractured. My eyes were glue to the screen the entire time.
Stupid kid. I hate stupid kids in movies ;-)
Psychological thrillers are one of my favourite genres and this was no exception. At the beginning you're adamantly on Rays side, noticing all the creepy characters and glitches in the hospital and wondering where they're hiding his family, but further on you begin questioning everything and begin flipping sides searching for the truth far too frequently.
I was biting my nails sat on the edge of my seat! This was a great suspense thriller that had me second guessing myself. It stated the obvious at times when it didn't need to, but overall it was well crafted and well acted. In fact, I found some of the characters absolutely spot on creepy... and that's when I sat up and took notice. Congrats to all concerned! 7/10
I find this movie to be incredibly hard to grade. I mean, most of the movie that follows the cringe-inducing, super-cheesy opening is pretty damn good. But the mind-bogglingly stupid decision of an ending totally ruins the taste of what came before it. Should have ended with Ray bringing Joanne and Peri to the narrow-minded cops locked up in the garage/shed, showing them that he wasn't fucking lying. Infuriating as fuck! Watch the masterpiece that is Session 9 instead. Brad Anderson at his best. "...and where do you live Simon? - I live in the sick and the wounded."
i was flipping and flopping during the whole film... at one point it was is a nut job then with the visuals they kept showing i thought no maybe the hospital is doing some shady organ robbing stuff. Sam worthington did a nice job of convincing that he as missing his family, hell he had me rooting for him, even at the end i thought - wow you should be a politician you had me fooled for a full 1hr 40mins.
Too slow and predictable. Not a terrible movie but not as good as it could of been. Poor Man’s Shutter Island
Hope the director and the writer never work again on a movie, worst shit I've ever seen after Solo
Cast 8/10

Let this movie be a lesson to all you parents out there. This is what happens when your kids disobey you!
Not a great movie because: 1) characters were not relatable and it was difficult for me to care about them; 2) there were annoying plot holes. Wouldn't recommend it.
wow esketit folks. i was horror worried and very nervous during the film. this movie is mental. i mean extra creepy and horror scary. be aware to keep your mind safe. losing your own mind is scary. better to mind your own businesses in life imma tell you that. extremely mindblowing film about getting traumatized. great work
[Netflix] A psychological thriller that the director solves effectively, but leaving too many clues in the first act for the third act to surprise the viewer.
It was a good movie but also a very predictable one espacially if you're into thriller and watched other complexe movies .You can guess the ending from the first 30 minutes of the movie and it was highlighted very clearly throughout the movie but it was overall fun to watch.
Good movie despite reviews. A nightmare hospital movie that keeps you guessing. A good watch.
NOT TOO BAD
Recently, NETFLIX featured another of their original projects "Fractured" directed by Brad Anderson, director of the brilliant 2004 "mindfuck" project "The Machinist". The trailer for the movie determined that it would be a good enough thriller, and partly it did.
The story of the film revolves around a worried father, Ray Monroe, whose daughter falls from a small scarp and experiences a fracture of her arm. After bringing her and his wife to a local hospital, Ray soon misses his family. The doctors and nurses know nothing, and the police are impotent on arrival, so the man decides to find out what happened to his family and why everyone around him doesn't want to help him.
You know, the film's description, like the trailer for the film, made a really good impression on me, so I was expecting a sufficiently twisted and tense action from "Fractured", but after watching the film I only got a poorly developed and borrowed storyline from other similar bands. There is hardly any originality here, as certain moments were reminiscent of the same "The Machinist", "Shutter Island" or "The Sixth Sense"). Of course, I'm not spoiling, just saying that some of the elements were borrowed from the bands I mentioned.
The first half hour of the film is very boring, so getting into this story is quite difficult. And the oppressive and very uncomfrotable atmoshphere also damaged the beginning of the film. But even after the first tedious thirty minutes, it gets interesting because it creates intrigue that lasts to the very end. However, prediciting how this movie will end is not that difficult if you look at all the extraneous details and dialogues that unwittingly reveal the outcome of the movie. I liked some of the stunts with the storyline, though I couldn't say I was really surprised because as I wrote a little above, it was easy to predict their outcome.
The characters in the film are cardboard and completely unforgettable. The protagonist Ray, shows absolutely no sympathy, though his actions seem to show his great love for the family. At times, it didn't look like his family was gone, someone snatched a burger from the table and he lifted everyone around to try to find him on his feet. Same with his family, who was in the movie for a very short time, followed by her searches. Why? Because Ray's wife and daughter were given too little time to unfold and at the same time make them worry about their fate.
After the movie ended, a lot of questions arose because the tape didn't seem to be fully completed and a few storylines didn't quite work out. But the preview didn't take long, which made the movie watchable. It is important to reject high expectations as this is a typical NETFLIX middleman who will give a good time to the TV screen but will quickly forget after viewing.
The technical part of the movie looked pretty good. I quite liked the color palette. It is so gloomy and gray, which is why the atmosphere in the film itself was not very positive. The cinematographer's work is neat, the music doesn't get in the way, and the audio and video montages are good. There was no great WOW effect when looking at the outside of this movie, but there was nothing to complain about.
Long-sighted Sam Worthington didn't make a big impression. He played it, it looked like a tree with no emotions. Somehow lately he has been showing the same acting and facial expression which makes it quite difficult to believe the characters he plays. He played in sublime roles... I don't even know who played there. All the actors around Sam played third-rate and completely unforgettable roles.
Finally, do you want a simple, completely unoriginal, yet energetic thriller? This is this movie for you. It is ideally suited for slipping into the evening and resting from a busy day.
I can quite easily see where this movie is going, and i could have just imagined the whole second half of the movie like Ray did, and still get it 90% right. The suspense was pretty good actually, intense at times too, but the movie suffers from a very linear story telling, and we have been reminded too many times in the movie, that the narrative maybe false. As a viewer in for suspense i found them ruining the suspicious setting and the mood.
Actually the movie was pretty enjoyable, but with this script it could have been 10 times more enjoyable if they had some of the scenes rearranged (say, put the waiting room scene at the start), and keep the ending "Less explicit" for the hungry guessers (me included! i felt betrayed when they have the truth revealed in that fashion). Yes, i know that it might become entirely like Shutter Island and the director maybe avoiding it intensionally, but there's a certain recipes for this kind of twists and the movie is not fresh enough to do things completely different.
This kind of movies go either of 2 ways - Jodie Foster's Flightplan way, or the mental disorder way. Honestly, I would take Flightplan any day(That was a great movie btw).
Was it necessary to hide from the plot that the mother and daughter went to LL level? They showed us very clearly that he (the father) saw it. Why didn't he tell the police about it? He told them anything else and they were eager to investigate all of it.
Re-watching it after a while brightened up the impression. It’s not so bad, the situation is tense, you can’t help but expect Worthington to slaughter these dirty puppet masters, hehe. And the plot, meanwhile, moves in the completely opposite direction, towards the realization of the truth. On one viewing is good
v confusing, lots of twists and turns, didn't really capture me though for some reason.
Not novel, we've seen this kind of film all the time - Memeto being one of the best - but still managed to provide an enjoyable, thrilling ride where you may second guess what happened.
Quite predictable at times but still enjoyable. There were still moments that got you second guessing. Overall a good thriller. 8/10
Fractured is a solid thriller movie with a well-crafted plot that filled with suspense and surprises. While the acting in the movie could have been better, the plot is engaging enough to keep you invested in the story. The film's strength lies in its clever twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. Fractured is a satisfying thriller that delivers enough thrills and chills to keep you entertained. It may not be a perfect movie, but the plot alone is worth the watch.
lowkey kinda cray :eyes: somewhat predictable but some good scares nonetheless
Good movie. It kind of makes you uncomfortable. I can understand some people not liking it, but it genuinely works as a thriller. Worth 100 minutes.
I enjoyed much more than i expected.Great atmosphere and nice plot 7.5/10
the ending really did so much damage to the whole movie...
A great psychological thriller, leaving me with a lot of questions after it ended.
This was amazing. I thought I had figured the ending halfway through, and it turned out to be very different!
totally gave me shutter island vibes!
You will be mad if you watch this movie don’t waste your time. Some sixth sense wanna be, totally predictable
1 / 2 directing & technical aspect
.5 / 1 story
1 / 1 act I
1 / 1 act II
1 / 1 act III
1 / 1 acting
1 / 1 writing
0 / 1 originality
0 / 1 lasting ability to make you think
-1 / 1 misc (from the second his delusions started, it was painfully obvious what was happening. The music changed, his wife started acting way nicer, and he kept talking about taking care of them over and over. He falls 10 feet, smacks his head on the concrete, and is out cold, then one minute later he's fully conscious and taking care of business. I even predicted how both characters died just by the movements and sound effects off-screen during his "turn the volume down on the world" freeze-up. So I sat through this whole movie waiting for it to flashback to the construction site, so it could confirm everything I already knew from 10 minutes in.)
I completely understand how someone unfamiliar with the genre would really enjoy this movie, but this twist has been done to death.
5.5 / 10
not my type of movie, but an interesting watch nonetheless. incredibly boring start, it starts to pick up later. Good finale although I predicted it like half way through the movie
I just started this movie and the wife, I just want to slap the skin off of her. Now the daughter is a smidge annoying.
After an accident, Ray, played by Sam Worthington, has to take his daughter to the hospital. But something funny is going on at the hospital, which comes to a head with they take his wife and daughter for tests and she doesn’t return. Not only does she not return, but the hospital has no record of his wife or daughter ever having been there. He must now rescue his family from an organ harvesting operation being run out of the hospital.
OR DOES HE??? dramatic music plays
There are questions about whether he’s really perceiving things as they are while the hospital staff attempts to gaslight him and make him believe that he’s for all intents and purposes crazy.
OR IS HE??? dramatic music plays
Okay, I have to add these dramatic bits to this review because they’re more dramatic than the actual movie. It’s pretty obvious rather quickly what’s going on. Part of the problem may be the short runtime combined with a kind of lengthy setup. The setup seems to be designed to convey the sense of waiting long times in the hospital ER waiting room (...ah hah hah social commentary…) But this lengthy first act cuts into the time that could be used to build mystery and tension. As it is, it almost seems like a long “Twilight Zone” episode.
If you want an “Are they crazy or not?” film that’s much better, check out “Flightplan” with Jodie Foster. But “Fractured” is a generally poor take on the genre and I can only recommend it if you really have nothing else to watch or do.
Good dark suspense movie. Sam Worthington was excellent.
Thought I had figured it out from the beginning, but having got to the end I am not sure now.
Trust my gut and it was the correct ending....i think! Great movie well worth a watch.
Honestly, it was kind of disappointing. It was obvious what was happening the whole time. Was hoping for more..
Loved the suspense ride, but not the tragic destination. Overall this is a very sad and depressing story. I would feel evil rating this as good.
Good acting but predictable and a underwhelming storyline.

Now that was a mind blowing film that even hurt my head that keeps you on the edge of your seat and doesn't keep you on the waiting list for long with It's fast paced action and overall a decent film that was great to end my night.
The cast were all great together and good performance from sam that did a good job. The film is like many films but what fits is Flight Plan meets shutter island in a hospital. ha
Still thought.. I think the ending has left me with unanswered things unless I'm confused has much as sams character was.. who knows. ha
