"After this it's just babies and memories."
My big mistake with this movie was that I watched the tv show first. Coach Taylor in the FNL tv show is so much better than this coach. That being said, this movie does depict how that area of Texas really is like. The obsession over football when you have nothing else... is real.
Do yourself a favor and watch the Friday Night Lights tv show!
Watching this made me really miss football. The game scenes were intense. The off field stuff wasn't as strong but still dealt with some real issues, even if they don't dive too deep into them. I love me some Billy Bob but Lucas Black is so dull.
Solid football movie. The game sequences were intense and entertaining. But what shines the most is the light that's shone on the consequence and effect this game has on its players, due to the morbid obsession America has with this sport.
Cinema Paco: image and sound 4,25 / 5. I liked very much what counts and how it counts, that pressure that they put
Unbelievable ending.
I never got to watch the TV show but heard good things about it. I like the movie and it definitely keeps you entertained! Worth a watch for sure!

A pretty good football movie, but the TV Show was way better!
