The real title is Fucking Åmål and this is one of the most “exactly what it was like being a teenager” movies I’ve ever seen.
It's, for me, a good surprise :)
The movie avoid the usual pathos inherent to the teen dramas and the young actresses are cute and heartwarming

Knowing how older queer movies usually go I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised, especially with the happy ending. If only I had known about this movie when I was a kid.
