Good Kisser is a pointless character drama that doesn't quite know what it wants to say. The story (what little there is) follows a couple that goes on a date with another woman hoping to spice up their relationship, but instead secrets are revealed that threaten to tear them apart. None of the actors are particularly good; in fact Rachel Paulson is quite bad. Also, the script does very little to explore the characters or relationship issues. Still, writer/director Wendy Jo Carlton sets the tone especially well, heightening the tension and intrigue. And the music is used quite effectively. Languid and aimless, Good Kisser has the beginnings of an interesting story but fails to get there.
