Green Street Hooligans 2005

I’M FOREVER BLOWING BUBBLES,
PRETTY BUBBLES IN THE AIR.
THEY FLY SO HIGH THEY REACH THE SKY,
AND LIKE MY DREAMS THEY FADE AND DIE.
FORTUNE’S ALWAYS HIDING,
I’VE LOOKED EVERYWHERE.
I’M FOREVER BLOWING BUBBLES,
PRETTY BUBBLES IN THE AIR.

Being a member of what they call "firm" ( the biggest from my country ) find this movie good but a little bit of the track because there a majority that its not talked in the movie; the ones that don´t care about fights, or ground, or rep...they just care to support the loved club every weekend in every way possible without even care about other..."firms".

A terrific film. Director and co-writer Lexi Alexander choreographs the fight scenes with thrilling chaos.

It’s shot in London, yet riding his bike on the wrong side of the road. The first minute of the film a phone box falls over & a man picks up a concrete bin, both of which we all know in real life are firmly planted to the ground. The end we see a car with the bonnet facing the camera then miraculously face the opposite direction when driving off. Finally they organise a brawl on a non match day? Seriously? How can American filmmakers get simple things so badly wrong!
Even the fight scenes are done with a shaky camera because it can’t portray real life aggression.
This film has no resemblance to real events, yet it still is a fun watch and needs to be viewed, but if u want a real portrayal of hooliganism then watch Arrivederci Millwall, The Firm(Gary old man) or The Football factory.

The bad side of good old 90’s soccer football.

"You don't run, not when you're with us... You stand your ground and fight!"

Since I have been in a few football fights and seen some of this happen before my eyes, I could relate to a tad bit of this film. Just a tad. There is something about early 2000's rock being played while the shakey cam goes bonkers that makes me want to scream, but the movie itself is ok.

A very good movie with some important messages and great perfomances too.. 7.8/10

This is an enjoyable film apart from the fact that is pales in comparison to "Football Factory".

one of my favourite movies this was awesome i highly recommend it!! this actually caught me by surprise the first time i saw it i borrowed some movies off a friend just grabbed a whole stack didn't look what they were & when i looked through i left this to last coz i didn't think i would like it or that it would be any good & was i wrong!

it's nothing like the other typical hooligan soccer/football movies which have no substance whatsoever. don't make the mistake of skipping over this & bunching it with those kinda movies coz you'll miss out. liked this so much i snapped up the bluray not long ago i was so stoked when i saw it.
