Gunmen Of The Rio Grande 1964

Closer to the well-known "Spaghetti Western" genre than previous movies, which were simply european copies of 50's American westerns. This one features an excellent "gun duel" at the end which probably accounts for the French title. The gunfight between two twitchy pistoleros reminds me of so many others in later Spaghetti Westerns.
One alternate Italian title for this film is: "Jennie Lee ha una nuova pistola", and the "nuova pistola" is actually a rifle that Jennie Lee uses in a timely fashion in the previously mentioned scene at the end of the movie.
