More action, more monsters, more laughs, a cool sound track and better than the other two XD
This film is like toilet training a toddler: you just sit there and wait for the stinker to be over and done.
One thing I can say about this is that it had a lot of gags. Oh, wait, no, it made me gag. That's what I meant to say. It made me gag a lot.
Seriously, this is the knock off local Disneyland you take your kids to when you don't have the time or the money for the real thing. If you love your kids and respect yourself, take them to something they'll appreciate instead.
(So why not a 0 ranking? I'll give it credit for the animation and voice acting, neither of which was as bad as the rest of the film.)
The first one was really fun, the second one was okay, this one was blah. I actually fell asleep part way through which says a lot because I rarely ever sleep through movies. And the movie was more about romance so there's less interaction between the main characters and it was all cheesy. Which I guess is expected but the last movies had this ironic, dark humor that made them stand out and this movie was completely lacking in that.
I mean, it's better than whatever the Dark Universe is doing. Shit, I saw this a couple days ago at my awesome local AMC, but I forgot to log it. The film doesn't have as much staying power as I would like, kind of shame, 'cause I really dig cute animated features, and the horror genre. This is a child friendly mix of both, but it's only stand out qualities it has to show for is Genndy's expressive animation, and I mean wacky as fuck stuff, and it's line up of Transylvanian monsters. So call me biased for giving this an above average rating, but it's presentation is what I got a high off. Also, that godforsaken airplane Gremlins bit, oh my god I want more of that. I mean, if you're just looking for a safe time at the theater on a like a discount day, this is the perfect option. Your gelatinous offspring will eat it up, you will like the monsters and action, and the theater gets money. Everyone wins. When I say safe, this is the highest average you can get. Main character wants a girlfriend, crew goes on vacation, lead meets a pretty lady, hijinks ensue, and some "surprise" reveals. You know the entire plot start to finish just by watching the trailer. I wish Tartakovsky was allowed to take risks, or allowed to make his Popeye movie that was shamefully scrapped in service of making The Emoji Movie, because the dude has talent. He created Samurai Jack and Dexter's Labratory. He has a key eye for fluid and unrealistic movement that lends itself to eye candy entertainment. The fact he's stuck at Sony making borderline criminally safe movies like Summer Vacation is sad. I was amused with what I got here, it's fine, but that's it.
Really disappointing. Wasn’t a big fan of the two first even if I found them bearable. This one hits a low point.
The storyline is just a succession of random stuff that just happen just to create bad jokes.
This is exactly the same level of quality as the other 3. As a "monster kid" growing up on Universal monster movies and the Groovy Ghoulies, I kind of enjoy these, but they are definitely made for a much younger set. 5/10
An excellent film for those of us who are juvenile at heart... Hopefully they make another one soon.
Like its predecessors, surprisingly solid.
I can say I actually got a relatively decent amount of enjoyment from 'Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation'. I don't actually rate the characters in these films all that much, aside from Dracula I can't honestly say I remembered any of the others from past installments (which I, admittedly, haven't watched since, like, 2018?). Despite that, the stories onscreen tend to be passable enough that I can watch them with ease.
There are some bits that are a tad too slow, though for the most part it's a harmless enough 90 minutes that it is watchable. I just mentioned that I find the characters to be forgettable, the same can be said for the voice talent to be honest. Everyone puts in an OK performance, nothing that noteworthy but, again, the plot does enough that it's not a big deal. As for a cast standout... Adam Sandler, I guess.
Eager to see if lightning can somehow strike a fourth time with 2022's 'Hotel Transylvania: Transformania'...
AHH the animation is so cartoony but the story is so bad. I don't know if i like it or not AHHHHH.
It was the worst of all 3 hotel transylvania movies. It was not fun to watch anymore. Nothing was even funny. The story was too cliché and very predictable. Of course he'll get the girl! ugh!
Visually inventive and reasonably fun; after seeing this film, you might end up saying 'Fangs for the memories!' Sorry.
I liked this movie more than the 2nd one, and more than I expected to!
Movie is definitely cheesy and over the top but you did you expect it's still funny and an enjoyable time like the other Hotel Transylvania movies.
The first two parts were pretty good because of the humor but also the plot. In this third installment humor was not nearly that good but the plot was, in my opinion, the weakest part. I just hate when you know what is going to happen after just about 30-45 minutes. Still, 6/10 because of the great voice cast, animation, music... and few good jokes.
Very funny and enjoyable. I watched it with my siblings and we laughed the whole way.
not as good as the first 2 movies but still really cute
I love Hotel Transylvania movies, because all characters are funny and different than characters in other cartoons. It is always funny but also it is always so easy to guess how story will end. And in this one, it was so cliché.
Surprisingly good. The franchise has some more laughs left in it than I expected. I got quite a few good chuckles out of it.

Not as good as previous 'parts', but still decent instalment in series.
This movie is inspired by Van Helsing and it is something that makes sense in a world with Dracula. There were some good jokes and it has it's moments. The story was not so interesting but if you will watch it with your kid you will have a great time and I enjoyed it maybe a little less than the last two but that dance on Bruno Mars - 24 Karat Magic was amazing. It was the best part.
