Housesitter bares certain resembalances to Goldies' other hits Overboard (1987) and Bird on a Wire (1990), both of which are still in my Top100 favorite movies. Here we see Goldie playing yet another airhead character, this time a waitress who spends the night with Steve Martin's character and predicatable chaos ensures. Warm, funny and this has to be one of Goldie Hawn's best performances, with some impeccable comic timing between Martin and Hawn. One of those movies that make you feel good.
