This modern take on Little Red Riding Hood fable turned out to be a fantastic survival horror. It's very nice to see something different in a somewhat tired sub-genre. It's stylish, brutal, and suspenseful with some unexpected touches of humor that keep it from being too bleak. The fairytale-like visuals are infused incredibly well. Performances are strong throughout, especially the hunter. I thought he's one of the most despicable antagonists I've seen in a film. Very nice surprise indeed.
