This movie kept my interest, but if it were set in the US I'm not sure that it would have. The ending kind of made me question what the ~moral~ of the movie was: that people are all the same and that misogyny is just a coincidence, just a flip of a coin? That women somehow deserve it because of the state of things in another world?? I'm really not sure. It was also kind of unsatisfying as a story -- I wanted to see Damien have a "wow I'm a good guy now!!" moment in our world.
Random aside: As a girl with a big nose, it was nice to see lots of men and women with similar noses in this movie. My people! ♥

Great Idea, poor ending, no character development, no talking about what really happend, missed possibilities to show more gender inequality not just "girls will be girls" type of scenario.
I really hoped the movie included scenes where they could be free from gender and enjoy each other's company and respect each other for who they are and not they way their genital looks, so they could show that even though there's still inequality in world, there's couples who truly respect and love and care for each other.
