Elisa takes by surprise his husband Hauke with another woman. She is heartbroken. So Hauke leaves the house with their daughter Tina. Her old friend Alex is ill and must go to the hospital for an operation. Elisa accepts to replace him in managing his restaurant. Elisa needs to begin a new life: in the site of house exchange, she finds a house in Stockholm, and the widower Markus will come to her house. When she arrives at Stockholm the mother-in-law of Markus receives her warmly. Markus arrives at Elisa's house and is received by Agnetha, the friendly neighbor of Elisa. Then a phone call exchange begins between Elisa and Markus. Elisa makes a surprise visit to Alex's restaurant and discovers that everything is going wrong: she asks the cook Noel and the waitress Astrid to be more serious and to prepare very simple food, but with a taste of our mothers or grandmothers, that will the new touch of the restaurant.
