Nice movie we enjoyed it.
Special story and plot.
The acting is good. Lily Collins and Simon Pegg give great performances. However, the premise was full of holes, inconsistencies and improbabilities. The pace of the last quarter of the movie needed to be the pace of the whole to make this a good thriller. I give this film a 6 (fair) out of 10. [Thriller]
The ending is not as satisfying as I hoped.
Upon reflection, the will made stipulations which made the inheritance bait to encourage the brothers to overcome family dysfunction which I believe was the father's desire.
This was better than a TV movie but not a movie I would pay for in theaters. That said, if you like mysteries and suspense you should like this movie. All acting was good. I'd give it a C+.
I can't be sure if the end saved or ruined this movie. It was a pretty okay movie but certainly don't go in expecting much.
i really wanted to like this but the really slow pace and the plethora of cliche plot twists one after the other (and the terrible wig they put Simon Pegg in) made this a chore to watch and impossible to enjoy.

The anaemic pacing kept this film from being enjoyable. The acting, story concept, and cinematography are all good, but the pacing is a nightmare.

if you like mystery and suspense this is a good movie
Not a very good movie. Simon Pegg was good but it isn't worth your time and Collins is mediocre. She doesn't bring anything to this movie that another thousand mediocre actors could.
I guessed the twist early and knew when the movie would turn. Did not grip me at all, did not feel for any character. This is something you play as you play your game on your phone or tablet while needing to have something play in the background.
No way this 2 year old movie should be trending on Netflix as a top anything without an actor in here dying or doing something outrageous in real life.
So Netflix top 10 list now appear to me to be BS!! I’ll
check ratings here next time first.
pretty standard thriller fare, lily collins and simon pegg gave great performances. i'll say the "twist" is about as expected as a twist gets, though.
Pretty early in the movie I was thinking: maybe he is the bad guy and might also be her father somehow. But I was sure there is more to surprise me. Nope, that’s all. Collins was alright. Pegg wasn’t.
as always a good performance of Lily Collins, this movie is not the best, Obviously, but I think that is a good movie for a movie day. I recommend this movie.
Maybe if all the watchers were wealthy, we could feel more empathy about the loss of honor and reputation of a family knowing the father was an a-hole, but between the way the girls acts (choices, no performance, folks) and tedious length of the movie, I didn’t care at all for none of characters
Could have been so much better...

It's not a great film, but the excellent performances by Pegg and Collins ensure its not a total waste of time.
