I recall watching this as a kid many years ago…it aired on network TV as one of those "late late show"-type movies that came on somewhere around 11:00PM on a Friday or Saturday night. Scared the bejabbers out of me, and I had nightmares of tentacled bone-sucking blob-like creatures for years after (honestly, I did). I recently found this in its entirety on YouTube and had the distinct pleasure of watching it again and found it absolutely laughable that it scared me so bad as a child. The movie is your typical 1960's-type "horror" movie in that it takes its sweet time in building the suspense before you finally catch an oh-so-brief glimpse of some tentacled thing slithering away... And then the terror begins in earnest. As a kid, it really did scare the stuffings out of me, but as an adult, I still found it entertaining enough to watch. No, it isn't "scary", but it IS entertaining and anyone - especially from my generation - would probably get a kick out of watching this.
