Good indie comedy that had some great lines and dark humor. If you want some laughts to the end of the world pick this one instead of the unfunny "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World".
While the movie had its moments, it wasn't one that you might remember years to come. But all in all it was entertaining enough to sustain one's attention throughout. At times it was predictable and had moments where it lulled. A few predictable moments and a sense that it really wasn't going anywhere and that the writer didn't really know how to end it. However, overall a 3.5 star movie i feel.
The problem with "independent cinema" is that it's like alternative music. It gives you a reaction to the mainstream however it is not a genre in and of itself. Much of what is touted as independent remains to be a slightly altered version of the mainstream. I still prefer the quirkier alternative to its forefather but independent film is in my view a misnomer
Liked the movie! Original story and keeps it small.
