Jobs 2013

Ashton is not bad, a surprise for me!

A stylized idealist view on Steve Jobs. Not accurate. Only a good watch if you believe Steve Jobs is some kind of saint. Doesn't come as a surprise that this is the apple approved version of his "history".

The movie is probably going to suck very much, but I will probably watch it anyways. Doubt if Kutcher will do any good in this type of movie since he's just not any good.. Haven't seen a single movie or tv series ( although he did better than I thought on 2,5 men) that's worth remembering.
Just 1 thing that will probably cause this movie not to be any good. Let's hope the Sorkin movie will be better, shouldn't be hard ;)

A fascinating biopic about one of the most influential men of our time, Jobs is the story of Apple Computers founder Steve Jobs. The story follows his early days in college and the creation of Apple, along with his struggle to build and maintain control of his company. It’s a compelling tale about the corrupting influence of ambition and the price of genius. Ashton Kutcher gives an especially good performance, and is backed up by a strong supporting cast. Jobs is an uncompromising look into a figure that changed how we look at technology.

Sometimes it is really interesting to know lives of people who left huge impact on the current world where we live now. For instance his life was full of ups and downs and so were ones of people surrounding him. It may be important to see how they lived and what they did in those days.

It's always interesting to know lives of people who influenced our daily life. We should maybe know what they did and how they changed the world.

Decent biopic. It's a good companion piece to the other (apparently better) Steve Jobs movie. Fleshes out other details I was more interested in at the start of his rise. It's a little scattershot to be a great biopic, but Kutcher and the rest of the cast do good jobs in their roles.

I'm gonna say just one word: hypnotic!

First up: I heared to the audiobook from Walter Isaacson. So i already knew the detailed story. I also heared the offical bad option from Mr. Isaacson about this 'book-indepentent' Version, but in fact i loved the movie.

Why? I don't know. I love Steve Jobs story, while i am not anyway like him. I am not creative or implusive or have the need to do LSD ^^.

But the movie has a good kind of storytelling. Yeah, a lot is missing, so what? 128min were over in no time, but you also can not make it 200 minutes long.

So what does the movie do? Is it judging or is it glorifying Jobs? No and No. It has a wonderful Camera and a great cast, who shows both: The good and the bad side of Jobs.

What gets short is his family and i think the director was a little bit confus here. But the businessman Jobs is just great.

I expected after Isaacsons and Woz interviews just a bad movie. But this was accurate (most of the time) and a great biopic. Will i watch the upcoming biopic steve jobs movie ? Yes, because i love the story. But i don't know how you want to top this performance by Ashton Kutcher.

9/10

This movie was beyond horrible. Hopefully Fincher will make it all better with the new one.

The story, inspiring. But the movie, was not as great as it could've been. A lot of things were shot that were unexplained.

Meh, I'll stick to the book for a more elaborate storyline.

Pudo haber sido mucho mejor!! Bad performance!!

Awful movie. Everything you already knew, cut out half the key points and acting completely terrible. Not worth the time. Wait until the movie based on the book comes out later this year!

Zmařená šance na dobrý film. Místo životopisu spíše pohádka pro děti s překroucenou realitou a s prezentací Jobse jako Ježíše namísto sociopata jdoucí si svou vlastní egoistickou cestou jako v realitě.

Missed several events when Jobs was out of Apple.

Just watched Jobs, didn't really think it showed him as the genius he was. Not the best, but a solid 6

This is a very disjoint movie. It takes you out of each scene before you form any kind of attachment. It's like a montage. Pirates of Silicon Valley is still the best Apple/Jobs movie.

If, and only if, I didn't knew the Steve Jobs history I would like it better. As a fantasy movie it would be awesome, cause tell a story like a charm. It's calm and make you think after. But, as a real person movie it leave a strange taste in the mouth. What about Pixar? What was neXt doing? What was the great computer?

But after all? 9/10

Doesn't really say much either about Jobs or Apple, after watching it I felt kinda lost, what this movie is trying to tell me...

This movie was a very inspirational movie for people - like me - who are drawn in by the entrepreneurial lifestyle. Yes, I will agree with multiple reviewers that the Steve Jobs in the movie may not be exactly like the real Steve Jobs in terms of his behavioral attitudes at times.

Ashton Kutcher did the best acting that I have seen from anyone in a biopic. His appearance is not only very close to Steve Jobs, but Ashton nailed the small parts that makes Steve Job a human, such as his walk, his nervous twitches and so on.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the movie. The "fanboys" may think its awful, since it didn't necessarily glorify Steve Jobs like he was post-iPod. For people who want a good view of a "start up based in the garage" company, the realization of entrepreneurs and the stress that inhabits their lives, then this movie would be a good movie for you.

I agree with @dunpealhunter - this one is going to be EPIC!
I already put it on my "Inspirational" list (+3 others), because it's impossible that it's going not be.

Really looking forward to see this :)

This movie is gonna be epic! In my opinion Ashton Kutcher is the perfect guy to act as the man who literally changed the world we currently live in. Definitely a must-see movie.
