The movie started nice but it turned to a garbage towards the end. Hot Kate Beckinsale is the reason you would watch without blinking an eye. That's it.
Enjoyable to a point but it could have been better. Beckinsale is great and some of the action is good, but thanks to a weak script, it never engages as it should. Still, the ending suggests a sequel so there is room for improvement.
Overall, it's a ridiculous movie that knows it's ridiculous. I had fun with it, and got pretty much what I was expecting.
And then the end showed up. They try shoehorning in this layered conspiracy that really didn't work, and the whole two minutes with Susan Sarandon left such a bad taste in my mouth, I almost dropped the rating another star.
If a mashup of Crank, Atomic Blonde, and Adam Sandler's sports movies seems like something you'd want to watch, this fits the bill, otherwise don't even bother.

Apart from the badass woman as main character I had not idea what to expect but that was already intriguing enough tbh.
The whole time I was sad that Justin died and hoping that he would somehow be still alive. While watching the ending my wish obviously changed. At least it isn't sad anymore that he did actually die so maybe it's a good thing in the end (even for Lindy).
The actions scenes where pretty good but the story wasn't that interesting or engaging. The characters weren't that bad but lacked depth and got increasingly uninteresting towards the end. For a movie that seems to focus on comedy / some funny moments that seems fair though.
The ending was way too insane/overkill IMO. It seems like they want to keep the story open for a second movie but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea (it could certainly be good but after that ending I didn't really care about any of the characters anymore so that might require some extra work).
Edit: I was surprised that so many here mentioned Kate Beckinsale. Her performance was nice and she also looks good but I only remembered her from Total Recall and thought there would be many other woman who'd fit the role as well. However, I totally forgot that she also played Selene in Underworld (IIRC I surprisingly quite liked those movies due to her action scenes and cool character). I guess I should watchlist more of her movies.
Not the best movie but not the worst. But I do love seeing a woman who is feared, able to exact revenge and just generally get so pissed off she’s dangerous!

An excellent mindless revenge action movie that loses it's heart by introducing the twist. Sincerity is what made Wonder Woman so good. It's something the marvel movies like in general. This movie had it and then tossed it away but giving it a backstab that completely undercuts the point of the movie. It turns what was a movie that wasn't the great but at least had all it's value in how earnest our situation was and then just decides nah that didn't matter. I was more hurt then the protagonist when it happened.
Fun but vapid, Jolt is a Crank-esque ride that's entertaining enough to warrant at least one viewing. Check your brain at the door and Jolt will offer up enough dumb thrills, action sequences and late-2000s-emo Kate Beckinsale to engage even the most passive of viewers. The sequel bait is strong, and I'm not sure it'll hold up to another entry without upping the budget, but what we currently have is good. Just good.
Action packed and fun Movie. the premis and story is absolute nonsense but a fun movie all the same. Kate plays the role well.
A so bad it's good attempt at b movie entertainment. Beckinsale is always fun to watch and here she's given the writing of Deadpool if you'd ordered it on wish. That said the filmmakers are well aware of their shortcomings and steer into them with aplomb. It's a movie that'll score mostly 3-5s I figure unless you're related to the actors or like me tend to enjoy and smirk along for the ride tongue firmly planted in cheek. 6.1 which is more than fair here I reckon.
Having put this movie off for a year due to it’s ridiculous and over the top sounding blurb, I figured I would give this a go last night. And whilst it was totally ridiculous and over the top, it was great fun from the get-go! As always, Kate Beckinsale offers a great performance and is very easy on the eye. Speaking of which, I’m now off to go and rewatch all the Underworld series.

And that extreme blood pumping thing? I laughed so hard, but so hard that I had to stop the movie. My face got numb. I know they intended it to be some kind of danger... But come on? That must be one of the funniest things I've ever seen in an action movie.

It seems that I've watched the movie before in another studio, the script needed more refinement, it would be very good.
And the plot twist at the end surprised me a lot!

Fun, Action-Packed, and Predictable. It builds on a concept we all understand: What if I gave in to reacting to the world around me? I enjoyed it.
I will watch anything with Kate, not even knowing what it is about like in this case. I hate comedies as every one has the same dumb jokes but this one got me at times. It sure had some dumb scenes but not seen before, throwing newborns especially. Really fun watch.
I thought about many endings but they still surprised me a little bit.
Clearly setup for a sequal.

Not bad. Fun lead character, fun banter, some stylish action. I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if it weren't Kate Beckinsale–roles likes this fit her like a glove.

A decent story with a bad director and some awful actors. This girl Laverne Cox is god awful. Kate is a shoe fit for this type of characters. It's a good weekend popcorn action movie.
Very entertaining movie, yes Kate is ultra hot but the movie is fun and enjoyable. Ok it is stupid but it is fun stupid. Some nice LOL moments, nice interactions and awkward situations. I seriously did not see the ending coming.

Amazing. But in the literal sense, because it is a real movie freak. Incredible at all levels. Do you remember Lucy's? Well this is Lucy 2, with a lot of madness of the same suit. That's bad? That she goes, look at John Wick or Crank ... the amount of nonsense that she has and people like. And this can be many things but above all it is entertaining and very intense.
Meh....It was an interesting 90 minutes with popcorn. The popcorn was the best thing about this movie. JollyTime "Blast O' Butter".... good stuff. The movie...meh. It had its moments but they were ... meh.

Solid actioner with the always stunning Beckinsale leading the way. Strong action scenes and interesting concept. Near the end, I don't like their ham-fisted "let's build a franchise" crap, but it was a fun movie anyway.
This is an action film with great potential but is limited by it's 90 minute running time. The action sequences are decent and Kate Beclinsale did the best she could with the role of Lindy but the story wasn't fleshed out enough for my enjoyment.
I just think it was so unbelievable that Lindy would go on a dangerous mission to get revenge for a boy she'd went on 2 dates with - then her powers were never explained or really used for that matter. Sitting here now I'm still unsure what to think of it because If I said I didn't enjoy this film then I would be lying but this isn't a great film by any stretch.

It was like watching a reversed Crank - Crank 2 with Jason Statham and can't figure out what other movie to mix it with. Maybe a bit of Guy Ritchie directing similarities?
Whatever, movie was short so I didn't get to the point where I was counting the time for it to end. I actually enjoyed it. Not the best but definitely not the worst.
The street sets messed with my head so bad though. It was like watching a sitcom like Friends or something.
Ms. Beckinsale's one liners are good, the action scenes, story and overall script are meh, the CGI is shit. A poor addition to KB's catalogue of work.

So I could watch Kate Beckinsale put her way through a recital of War and Peace.
We have here a film that is eminently better than Hartley Quinn Birds of Prey yet is still only a 6.5 out of 10 for me.
Why? Low budget, needed a sub plot, didn't stick the landing. (A bit like Nobody without the extra action sequences it had.)
This benefited from a good turn by the wonderful Stanley Tucci and a not-as-awful-as-he-always-is Jai Courtney.
And Beckinsale brings her natural super sharp and quick wit to the part, no doubt improvising some of her own dialogue.
It's enjoyable enough fare. Might ebenfit from a more fleshed out sequel if they're looking to head that way. And more Kate is never unwanted.

Predictable from the moment i saw Jai first scene,bad casting bringing him,you will know how the plot of the movie will go just by seeing his first scene,so you will spend the whole movie bored with no twists or surprises..the only good thing that worth seeing in this movie is Kate still being in shape..other than that it's easily forgettable movie.
Not bad movie! They tried something different. Note, it is very predictable, all in all you will not regret spending time watching this movie. WATCHABLE.
