Not so funny as for a comedy...

The car chase was pretty funny
and it was very gay but i thought that is just 2000s finding being gay such a funny joke - but it was released in 2016?? bit recent for that tbh quite embarrassing

Cliché and formulaic, Keeping Up With the Joneses is a fairly generic action-comedy. The story follows a suburban couple that grows suspicious of their new neighbors and discovers that they’re CIA spies on a cover mission. Starring Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher, Jon Hamm, and Gal Gadot, the film has a pretty solid cast. But the comedy is bland and stereotypical. And the action scenes aren’t very exciting, and feel rote. It isn’t that Keeping Up With the Jones is a bad film, it’s just so by-the-numbers that it has no flavor to it.

It was a decent story/plot, but just not enough comedy to carry it. < disappointed sigh >

two stars for Jon Hamm and Gal Gadot nothing else matters

Shoulda been called Keeping up with the crusty old dudes with hot wives

This crapfest was just excruciatingly straight.

Well it did what a comedy is meant to do, and that's make you laugh, had me in stitches at moments, a great cast, a fun script, and lots of action :P

Think the Killers with Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl but better because they aren't in it. Jon Hamm and Gal Gadot make a great team. While Isla Fisher with barely anything on....wow, what a knockout. Plus yeah, she is funny too.
Zach Galifianakis though is still trying to find another good role since Alan in the Hangover. It wasn't really this movie or in Masterminds.

I want to understand how a script like that is given the greenlight. Unimaginative, very boring and not funny, using the tired "two boring ordinary couples caught in espionage (no espionage is actually present)."

For a comedy, the cast brings nothing to the table comedy-wise. Don't buy it, don't watch it!

Nice movie. The end was predictable, but it is a comedy after all.

Gal Gadot. If nothing else I'd watch it for her alone. Plot? Who cares. It's Gal Gadot. They could make a cooking show with her, I'd watch. Hell, they could show her chewing gum for two hours and I'd be all over that.

Keeping Up with the Joneses is doesn't exactly have a fresh concept. The comedy isn't very plentiful in this flat movie. Jon Hamm should be doing better than this.

Not that funny for a comedy but a bit entertaining on other parts. Galifianakis seemed out of character and out of place

The comedy is often heavy handed and dated. However, its not awful and is sometimes enjoyable.

Cool & funny little movie, it was a little 'by the numbers' but it worked.
The casting was perfect, though Zach Galifianakis felt a little shoehorned in.
Isla Fisher & John Hamm can really do no wrong, always seemed to be ideally cast, and Gal Gadot was equally ideal as the sexy/sensual spy wife.
Mrs Nedzs & I watched this to pass a slow afternoon, it was a most suitable film for doing just that, it does exactly what it sets out to do.
