Back to folk horror. A predictable but effectively creepy supernatural horror. Using ancient folklore and incorporates it pretty well to this unconventional tale of rebirth and modern paganism. It's slow and brooding, great at creating sense of dread and helplessness in the face of an unknowable evil. The structure is very J-Horror like and though the drama portion is big, there's some gross body horror and creepy dream/nightmare sequences that'll get under your skin.
