Liberal Arts 2012

I really loved this movie. In a lot of ways it reminded me of High Fidelity in that it addressed the difficulties that a man can having trying to move into adulthood. And as the movie progressed we came to see that nobody ever really feels like an adult - instead we must look at our aging faces in the mirror and the date on our birth certificate and infer that we are adults. I thought the movie addressed these themes in a subtle and very sweet manor. Elizabeth Olsen really steals the show as a "rough draft" of a teen that at first appears to be more adult than the adults. It was just a lovely movie to watch and I was sad when it ended.

Charming and warm hearted!
Young people want to be old and old people want to be young. This film is about growing up and maturity and about how can we face some doubts in life.
Josh Radnor writing is so elegant. His dialogues are quirky and so creative you never get bored. I can definitely see an improvement of Happythankyoumoreplease to this.
All of the different characters are interesting and the cast is great. I really liked to see Elizabeth Olsen in Marta Marcy May Marlene and is great in this also as is Josh Radnor once again as the main character of one of his films.
I loved classic music for the soundtrack. The scene where Jesse discovers that he actually likes to listen classic music and the connection that he does with what is happening in the streets of New York City is very good!

let me tell you why this one is amazing!!
cause Jessy does the right thing, he doesn't act wrong with Elthabite and that's a beautiful point from the story.
because we are talking about old-fashioned men, Honesty, bravery, and so on... and of course literature and his beauty.
I love that the movie is still on the right road and ending.

This movie starts with a long segment of the lead actor randomly talking to the camera, then someone steals his laundry.

I was really wondering when the point of the movie would start. It seemed like it wanted to waste all my time.

I started fast-forwarding, just to keep myself entertained.

I wonder what that man is going to do with the guy's laundry. I can only imagine he had a sexual fetish for used underwear.

I think the movie was pretty decent, there's a number of things going on in it and it's not really the type of movie you'll fully 'get' unless you've passed the 30 year mark, but it's a good story about aging and the different stages of it and has very relatable characters from pretty much each age group representing them. Good movie. I do admit though I wanted him to stay with Zibby and overcome the age difference between them.

A grown up movie about the highs and lows of being an adult, young or old. Worth a watch, whatever your age.

Like 1treehillbilly said, people who can relate to this will certainly appreciate this movie. Others might probably be disappointed or even bored depending on the kind of movies they like.

Like Greenberg and everything must go. You really need to be a certain age to relate to this movie. I loved it. The piece about the classical music and industrial noise and and appealing faces... Is something I do. And also reading too many books and not living live is what I do.... Except mine is with movies. I really did relate but not all will
