This started out sooo strongly and then just kind of went all over the place. It felt way too short, rushed and like there were scenes missing, especially at the end. The emotional flow felt inconsistent and unsatisfactory. I’m sure there was an intention to give it a realistic style, but in the end, if you’re making a feature film there has to be some concern with the dramatic pacing, and it just didn’t work here. Sad, i had high expectations for this and hoped to finally find a portuguese film that checked all the boxes.
