A love story that has no age limits. An older man and a younger woman fall in love much to the surprise of the latter. A wonderful twist on the story as Audrey Hepburn slowly works her way into Gary Coopers heart. Lovely ending.
This is classic cinema from another time and not comparable to todays. If you look at it rational it is a cheesy story about a naive young girl who dreams of adventure and falls in love for the first time with a (much) older man.
But Billy Wilder manages to make this a funny story that, admittingly, goes through some lenghts but never gets boring. Audrey Hepburn is adorable and is a perfect fit for the character of Arianne. As is Cooper in the role of the playboy millionaere. Really enjoyed this movie.
