Really loved this movie! I wasn't expecting much because the other reviews on here weren't all positive, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm only a little bit ashamed to say that I started crying a few minutes in... And then continued crying throughout the whole thing. I shipped them so hard, you wouldn't believe the noises that came out of my mouth.
Anyway, recommended if you like romantic comedies.
This movie didn’t make… sense? The plot between 2 supposed "best friends,” who showcased no chemistry, experience what only seems like a bunch of life events jammed together. Everything happens so fast (yet still remains rather dull) that character development is skipped and you’re left with no reason to really care about what happens. Everything is also treated so casually (births, relationships, marriages) which added to the sentiment of WHY SHOULD I CARE. The movie bothered me to an extent of how the characters (the main ones especially) just danced around where we all knew the plot was headed... FOR 12 YEARS. The acting wasn’t too bad, but the script spoiled what may have been satisfactory.
This movie is legit my worst nightmare.
A romance about missed opportunities. It was cute, but at the same time it bothered me that they just couldn't say how they felt over and over again. Even as adults they acted like immature children. But they had to go through all those experiences to find each other in the end. Script was ok, nothing too special and the story jumped around the timeline a lot.
Great perfomances, directing, editing and perfect set places..But man come on,after one hour i felt like they took it way too far..Movie was not realistic anymore and some things can't be happening so easy like writer thinks.Sorry for my bad english i hope you understand what i mean :)
In start it was beautiful though and i thought i was going to love it but..Not bad movie anyway you will probably enjoy it!
i'm into chick flicks but here it just didn't do it for me. Boring with tired all are they together/are they not situations that did the movie no justice.
I loved loved LOVED this movie. I've always been a sucker for a good romantic movie but this one really has my heart above most and beside the romance and friendship there is room for some humor as well. Love it! Lily Collins is also adorable in this movie.
I'm totally in love with every part and songs in this movie!!
Goddamn this movie is fucking intense. It's emotionally upsetting for the most part with some funny moments here and there, but the ending was really nice. It was predictable but felt very well earned after the insane ride throughout.
Funny movie to watch, but nothing special
I watch this movie at least once a year. It's my absolute go-to comfort movie and I cry atleast 8 times per viewing. This movie and the novel have literally been there for me in my darkest moments so obviously I have to give it 10/10
i loved the movie, Lily collins is such a beautiful actress <3 i am a bug fan..
boring movie that's it hahh ^_*
It's a fair movie. If you stop and think about many situations we face during life, you'll find one that matches with your own history.
He had loved her all along. He had loved her all his life, so I think that he may had have difficulty distinguishing loving her and being in love with her. Also not wanting to risk such a beautiful and lifelong friendship to be replaced with a awkward silence. He valued Rosie too much to risk something that he wasn't sure she had wanted.
loved the movie, the relationship between alex and rosie is so complicated.
Well, I am disappointed. I wasn't expecting much, though.
Despite the adaptation differences (which are always tricky), what left me unsatisfied was that I didn't FEEL the same way as the book made me feel.
As if the doctor/nurse who pulled a semen-filled condom out of her vageen wouldn't have warned her about pregnancy risks -_-
Call me a hater, but Alex truly didn’t deserve Rosie
I saw this in 2018 and gave it a 7 (good) rating but didn’t write a review. It caught my attention again today so I thought I’d revisit it and finally write that missing review. It is a good RomCom. Sam Claflin and Lily Collins are adorable as they play Rosie and Alex over the years. Of course, true to the genre it’s ending is predictable and long awaited as they navigate the obstacles and missed opportunities. There is a good supporting cast. So, my rating stands at 7 (good) out of 10. [RomCom]
AAAAAAAA que filme gostoso s2
deu até vontade de ter uma história de amor assim
Fucked up relationships, a mess!
I regret watching this purposeless, almost empty emotionally movie
Life is a almost neverending labyrinth with many false roads… but sometimes we can find a way out.
Watching a third time after finally having read the book. Not sure I like the movie all that much anymore. After the many complications in the book, the movie felt too rushed and too easy. Whereas the book had you feeling frustrated countless times. I get they couldn't have made it the same from cover to cover, but they could've made it longer with more focus on things. All of a sudden the movie was over and I realized I barely had an emotion during it.

Výborný scénář a herecké obsazení, skvělá a krásná Lily Collins, učebnicové zpracování romantického žánru. Maximální hodnocení 10/10 - zařazeno do osobní filmové sbírky.
Emotional rollercoster! Damn it! One second its funny and happy and the one next is sad. You can
t do that to me! Anyway, the one thing that irritated me the whole movie was Rosie`s eyebrows.
I hope the Movie is just as good as the Book was, because it was amazing.

Probably never seen that many proposals, marriages and pregnancies in one film, but I loved it!
