Massacre in Dinosaur Valley 1985

Any other time, I would have laughed this POS to scorn for how laughably ridiculous it is but sometimes… Sometimes you just want to disconnect your brain and let something so bad it's good be your entertainment for the evening, and on that note this certainly delivered. I was already chuckling with the opening scene (woman holding a duck in her lap on the bus, yet the duck was obviously fake...possibly wooden, even) and the cheesy bus ride, the leering nationals gazing with undisguised lust at the American white girl's long white legs, everything. It all simultaneously went downhill/got better from that point on. The English overdubs only added to the "charm" of this stinkbomb and you can't help but laugh at the atrocious melodramatic acting, the story, the dialogue, the ubiquitous Italian-music score that switches back and forth from "ominous we're all gonna die" to "I've lived my whole life and I'm falling in love now, only moments before we're all massacred by these savages"...everything about this was so incredibly rotten that it was PERFECT for an evening of entertainment. Cannibals, headhunters, piranhas...oh my!

This was everything I could want in an Italian film, a jungle atmosphere, cannibals, sleaze and 100% "B Movie" grade cheese.

Sleazy Italian exploitation flick. It heaps on the cheese and doesn't have many redeeming qualities, yet it still manages to be entertaining enough. Ends up being a little too fun, considering the gruesome subject matter.
