Despite the great cast isn't funny as we hoped

Thought this was hilarious. Brilliant comedy throughout

Moderately amusing but not as clever with its comedy as it thinks it is... masterminds... tsk!

Stupid in its own way but actually pretty funny. Didn't mind it at all!

It had a few moments where I laughed out loud, and it's crazy that any of it is based on a true story. Lol I gave it (begrudgingly) 7, mainly based on the STAND OUT performance of Kristen Wiig. Everyone else in it was what they are in every movie - much as Zach and Owen always make me laugh.

I forgot I watched this a year ago.

This movie had the potential to be very funny due to the cast. However, it fell very short!

the hype was high taking all the awesome actors, but it was a disappointment

I really wanted to like it but I hated it. Awkward humor is only funny in small doses and this movie over used it to the extreme.

This is the first time in a while I have laughed that much from a movie.

Many laugh out loud moments. Loved it. Not the best but definitely better a 38% rotten tomatoes rating.

Some funny bits, but overall Hess' least impressive turn. It's more an interesting time waster to see how these "true events" went down.

Okish. It was just too cheesy, actors didn't fit their roles and i was lost on some of the characters. I did laugh at parts thought. Rushed film for quick money i thinks.

Laughed from the start to the end,loads of comic scenes and loads of fun great comedy movie,wouldn't have guessed this was based on fact,very entertaining.

Laugh out loud comedy from start to finish, I highly rate this movie if you are looking for a feel good film.

My ol'lady started this movie the other night and it was funny and engaging enough to catch and hold my attention

Masterminds isn't as funny as I'd hoped considering the excellent cast of comedic actors but the plot is solid. The movie just doesn't have a big impact. Its really just a quirky heist movie that has potential but doesn't reach it. Kristen Wiig though, its the best she's ever looked.
