Meet the Robinsons 2007

Had a good final message about not letting the past ruin your future, but as a Disney movie it didn't age very well. I believe it went quite forgotten.
The comedy was pretty bad, the characters were obnoxious most of the time and the animation felt kind of rushed and incomplete, especially if compared to movies like Ratatouille and Shrek the Third that came out the same year.

This movie has some fantastic visuals and imaginative inventions. The "bowler hat guy" is inept, but the way that he is drawn is truly creepy. There were a few laughs and I appreciated some of the manic moments and quirky characters. The uninspired time travel story itself was secondary to the flashy animation.

A fun futuristic film for the entire family.

I remember watching this movie as a kid. I thought it was one of the best movies ever. I won't spoil too much, but I thought the plot twist with the bowler hat guy, and the dad was soo good. Now rewatching this as I am older brings so much nostalgia. The plot twist was fairly easy to figure out now that I look back, but extremely intesteresting for kids. This movie is just a masterpiece and remains very underrated to this day.

Interesting concept. Very poorly executed. One of Disney's worst animated features.

An interesting film idea as this follows a young orphan boy and his unconventional search for his true family. This was an interesting way to portray the message that you make your own path of life and anything is possible and that blood doesn’t always mean family; family can come in any shape and size and time.
The first 45 mins of the film is kind of all over the place as the plot is weird but then with one small plot twist the whole film makes sense. Like other Disney films it is fun, emotional and funny but the plot roller coaster makes this movie lower ranking to me.

The fact that this movie is really funny hides it's dated animation

A criminally underrated movie with a great soundtrack, neat characters, and a fantastic message. I highly suggest this movie for the family, and in my opinion, this movie does NOT deserve to be forgotten.

There's great potential there with the concept, but 'Meet the Robinsons' feels convoluted and rushed.

The first hour of this is boring, once the (admittedly good) turn comes it does slightly improve. If you take out the main parts of this, you'll hold some good stuff - the message, the twist, the means are just some of them. Sadly, everything that surrounds the positive things set it back.

The cast aren't great either. It's cool to see a Disney film, especially from this era and before, give new voices a chance; rather than giving roles to the usual suspects. Unfortunately, none of this cast are memorable - at least to me. Matthew Josten has one or two funny bits as Goob, they could've done more with him.

Animation-wise it's largely fine, though a few moments haven't aged incredibly. The end song from Rob Thomas is nice. All in all, however, this isn't a film I can honestly say I enjoyed. I wouldn't be opposed to a remake, if they ironed the execution out.

I don't know what to say about this film, it's super creative for sure and the ending is so feel good that I can't stop recommending it to anyone who is feeling a little down in the dumps. But I feel like this film was made at the wrong time as it shouldn't have been fully CGI as some of the CGI looks so creepy and even back then they looked creepy and janky, I think the reason this film never caught on was honestly because of character design as the story is pretty perfect, but I feel like the animation would actually creep out kids and I remember when this film came out Pixar was making some truly beautifully animated films which were fully CGI.

Other than the animation, I actually like this film a lot as the story is perfect as it inspires kids to "Keep Moving Forward" and even some adults need to see this film to see that you shouldn't always hold onto the past.

Here however we have not looked back for a long time. We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we are curious ... and curiosity continues to lead us on new paths. Go ahead." Walt Disney

Happy 10th anniversary to one of the greatest animated movies ever put to the silver screen. Everyone on the planet Earth can learn something from this masterpiece, and hopefully, it can inspire them too.

This is a movie that makes you reflect on who you are as a person, where you're from, and where you'll go in the future. Life is short, so live it to the fullest and in the moment. Love you all. Keep moving forward.
